The "Yes on 1 and 2 campaign" who are the supporters of the Mesa bonds sent out a release yesterday touting the launch of their new website http://www.yeson1and2.com/. The site includes some pretty detailed information about the bond campaign including a very cool interactive map where you can click on and off the districts to see what you are getting.
Now that the Pros have mounted a campaign, it will be interesting to see if people start to come out against the bonds. Clearly, the economic downturn is not doing anyone any favors, either it will make people realize even more that they need the most essential services, or they will close up their pocketbook and not spend another dime. I think the pro campaign is hoping for more of the former and less of the latter.

I want to point out here that if you use the calculator provided on the YES and you type in your homes value as indicated in this case $281,000.00 it show up as $28,100.00 which give you a false sense of how much it is going to cost.
That's your assessed Full Cash Value. Its listed at the bottom of the assessors page. Basically, its 10% of the total cost.
